Are you an artist/artisan interested in demonstrating and discussing your work to interested visitors; with the potential to make sales and contacts?
If so, the Tweed & Area Studio Tour may be just the activity for you.
You don't have to live in the immediate Tweed area; we have venues and members willing to share their spaces with you. Of course, if you are in the area, you can open your own studio.
INFORMATION & CONDITTIONS
The Tweed & Area Studio Tour is a cooperative effort to provide an opportunity for artists of Tweed & Area to open their studios to allow the public to see where they work, demonstrating and explaining how & why they create their art. It is also an opportunity to sell directly to the public and to get feedback from new, repeat and potential clients.
Each ‘new to the tour’ applicant’s work and studio is subject to a juring process. Only handmade items and locally made goods will be accepted. No re-sellers, no component assembly, no imported items will be accepted.
The Tour strives for a balanced representation of Art and Craft media. We cannot guarantee that all applicants will be accepted.
