Now in its 27th year, this self-guided tour runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday on Sept. 26 & 27. In 2026, the Tweed & Area Arts Council are joining forces with the Tweed & Area Studio Tour. This year’s call for artists/ artisans opens on January 1, and closes on March 15.   

We trust you will enjoy our gently rolling countryside as it transforms to autumn's glory, just as much as you will relax in the warmth of our friendly people. The Tour is hosted by local artists and artisans from the south central area of Hastings County, Ontario. Our purpose is to provide an opportunity for these artists and artisans to showcase their talents in their studios by means of a self-guided tour and to entice visitors to discover the wealth of artistic talent and natural beauty of our corner of Ontario.

Tweed is located 35 kms north of Belleville on Highway 37, approximately 2-1/2 hours from Toronto and Ottawa.
