Stained Glass, Carpentry & Sculpture
My work is varied and adaptable. Stained glass panels, suncatchers, lamps and sculpture, interpreting forms of nature. Carpentry both functional and fanciful. The driftwood and barnboard in my surrounding find its way into my art and furniture. Recent work has included a series of wire sculptures of birds perched on branches, a copper-foiled vase-shaped stained glass lamp, and a bench with reclaimed top and tree-limb legs.
I make things with my hands. I pursued a career in stained glass, working for professional studios in Germany, Ireland, and the US. I continue to operate my own glass studio, doing repairs to existing historic windows, as well as making commission pieces and my own artworks and lamps. I also work as a fine art handler and installer for regional art galleries, museums, and private collectors.
