“It’s all about the landscape. Country landscape, real or imagined.”
Living in the country, being surrounded by forest and pastures these past 20 years, has created the need to express, through art, my belief in the healing powers of nature.
There is no rush in the country, there is no hurry. And it’s this sense of serenity I try to convey through my landscape works in oil, pastel and print.
I work with landscape shapes, both real and often simply remembered, and I paint a world of colour of my own creation.
